2013年9月1日。福島県双葉郡楢葉町前原・山田浜地区は、木戸川の河口南東方向に広がる集落だ。鮭が遡上する小さな河川と豊かな自然に育まれた土地と聞く。日曜日だが国道沿いの民家に人影は見られなかった。

Maehara / Yamadahama area, Naraha-machi, Fukusima. was devastated by a tsunami after the Tohoku earthquake on 11 March 2011. The Nuclear Power Plant was also damaged by the tsunami and its catastrophic failure forced residents to evacuate from their beautiful hometown.
The photographs were taken on 1 September 2013.
